The Mungo trip was a highlight of my journey spending time with my Sistah girls, who are very knowledgeable on their country and have a calm and comical way of teaching.

"I was invited by my daughter Becka who has known Annabelle and Jessica for a number of years. I am interested to learn more about the first peoples of this country I was born in and to understand their struggles.
Intellectually I knew the connection of indigenous people around the world and the land. However participating in Yuma Spirit Cloth Gathering enabled me to feel the connection.
I felt the presence of the land and its creatures and the presence of the ancestors.
I came away feeling like I’d had a spiritual experience.
All the facilitators and all the participants were totally committed to the experience.
